The natural elements incursion is a multi-sensory, play-based learning experience that inspires creativity and joyful connections with nature. Students will explore and create with natural materials and loose parts with a focus on developing STEM thinking dispositions and affordances in nature.

Students will learn about the engineering design process to imagine and reimagine design solutions with open-ended materials. Students will focus on sustainability, indigenous connections, sensory play, and biological science. Students will also develop problem solving, fine motor development, and sensory integration.
