Welcome to Port Noarlunga Primary School.
We are a school that is often described by visitors as ‘having a great vibe’. While this is hard to explain in writing it is something that is palpable upon entry to the school. The caring nature of students, staff and families contributes to this ‘vibe’ and the culture of our school.
We take direction from the Department for Education goal “Growth for every student in every class in every school” and are intentional in increasing the impact that we have in each interaction.
Our location near the beach provides unique opportunities for our students including an annual Beach Carnival, lessons at the beach and involvement in community projects such as Adopt a Spot.
Thank you for your interest in our school.
Children turning 5 before May 1st can begin Reception that same year. Children turning 5 after May 1st will begin Reception the following year.
*From 2022, South Australian primary schools will cater from Reception up to Year 6, and Year 7 students will begin secondary education at a high school.
Enrolling from Outside the Zone
Enrolments from outside the school zone are considered. Families are encouraged to submit a Registration of Interest to Enrol as early as possible to be added to our waiting list.
Once we have an understanding of numbers from within our school zone and sibling enrolments, the waiting list for outside the zone is opened.
Offers are made to registered families in July/August.

In order to take part in a Principal’s tour of the school families must first complete a Registration of Interest to Enrol.
Tours are offered in small groups throughout the school year and led by Principal Marie Wright. They generally last 30-45 minutes. Children are welcome to attend.
Registered families will be notified of tour times when they become available.
Starting School Program
Led by the Reception Team, our Starting School Program is held every Friday afternoon in Terms 3 & 4 for all incoming Reception students. Sessions run between 1:45pm and 3pm.
This unique program gives students an opportunity to get familiar with their surroundings, their future classmates, and future teachers; and helps ease the pressures of that first day of school the following year.
Families are given the opportunity to attend the Starting School Program when enrolment is offered.
