WORKING TOGETHER - LEARNING FOREVER
Welcome to our school where we value:
Port Noarlunga Primary School continues to grow from strength to strength which is evident in the enrolment trends over the past 5 years. We currently have 428 students from 305 families.
We are celebrating our centenary in 2016. Our 100th Birthday Celebrations were held during the week of October 17th - 22nd culminating in a Giant Celebration Fete on Saturday 22nd October. The Fete was a momentous occassion and a huge success. Photos from the Fete can be found by clicking here. (This is a large file 12mb)
Two special assemblies were held commemorating our 100th Birthday. An 'Olden Days' assembly was ran as it was in 1916 using documentation from that era. An official assembly with invited guests and dignataries was also held where students and staff were encouraged to wear period costumes.
Successful whole school events including the Beach Carnival, Open Night and Twilight Dance Evening are testament to the ongoing positive image within the community that has continued to have been strengthened in 2015 and 2016.
Port Noarlunga Primary School is now a zoned public primary school. Zoning restricts the schools that students may attend in the area you are living. The zone for Port Noarlunga Primary School is bounded by the coast line in the western boundary, the southern side of Beach Road, the western side of the railway line, the northern side of River Road, Gawler Street, Gray Street and the Onkaparinga River.
Places are available for students for the 2016 school year who live in the zoned area. Please contact our Enrolment Officer, Mrs Jan Mangnoson for further enrolment information regarding the zoning and enrolments. Enrolment forms can be found by clicking here.
