Port Noarlunga Primary School continues to grow from strength to strength which is evident in the enrolment trends over the past 5 years. We currently have 392 students from 282 families. Successful whole school events including the Beach Carnival, Open Night and Twilight Dance Evening are testament to the ongoing positive image within the community that has continued to have been strengthened in 2010 and 2011.

Fundraising News
2011's fundraising was used to purchase portable shelters for school events such as SAPSASA sports, Beach Carnival and activities. For Further information on how to support our fundraisers please email the fundraising committee on pnpsfundraising@gmail.com.

Try your luck with LUCKY LOTTO! Purchase a number of your choice which will be your number for the remainder of this school year at a mere $20 to be in for the chance to win the monthly cash prize draw. The more who play the bigger the cash prize! Look out for the flyer at the start of Term 2 to nab your lucky number. You've got to be in it to win it!

The fundraising committee want to organise a Ladies Night later in Term 2. We are asking for anyone who would be interested in selling their wares, be it wine, candles, make up, skin care, bags etc. Or if there are any entrepreneurs who have anything to sell we would love to hear from you, Please email your details to pnpsfundraising@gmail.com

The Port Noarlunga Primary School wristbands are now available from the front office for just $2.00 each. Proceeds to fundraising.

School Vouchers
We have begun collection of the Woolworths Earn and Learn stickers and have provided students with a sticker sheet each. Extra sheets are available from the front office. We have collated the Coles Sports for School vouchers and thanks to the generous support of our school community and their extended families we have over 53,000 vouchers to use to aquire new equipment for our students. Thank you to everybody who supported the program. Some great resources were received through the 2011 campaign from Coles and Woolworths to support learning across the school.

Redevelopment
It was with great excitement that we received the long awaited news that our school will undergo a $4.4 million redevelopment of our administration building and general teaching areas. The administration building will be replaced entirely. The process has commenced, with major work commencing in 2012 and will be completed by approximately March 2013. After the successful redevlopment of our Early Years Unit in 2007 and the construction of our new gymnasium in 2010, we are looking forward to this major undertaking to further improve our wonderful school. Fortnightly updates regarding the redevelopment are published in each newsletter.

Beach Carnival
This year's Beach Carnival was held on Thursday 5th April (Term 1 Week 10). Results have been published in the Week 2 newsletter (click here). A double page A3 spread of photos were sent home with each child and can be viewed here.

Twilight Dance Night
Twilight Dance Night was held on Tuesday 15th November and was a fantastic success. Students from each class performed a dance routine after which parents, caregivers and extended family joined in to repeat the dance. This whole school event has become extremely successful and is part of our annual activity program. Checkout some of the photos on our Activities page. Some of the great photos were published in the Week 6 newsletter. 2012's Twilight Dance Night will be held on Tuesday 13th November.
