Port Noarlunga Primary School

South Australian Police Band Performance

May 29, 2023 | school events

Written by Jada, Dahlia, Jordyn and Alysha in Mr Horsfall and Mrs Smale’s class.

On Wednesday the 10th of May our school was lucky enough to have the South Australian Police Band come and play some awesome music. You can watch a highlights video below.

They taught us the phone number to call when there is an emergency, which is 000 and the situations when to call 000. They spoke to the whole school about keeping safe, bullying and that police are our friends.

The police band played lots of songs, such as:

  • The Addams Family
  • Toy Story, Ghostbusters
  • Bluey
  • Firework
  • Mario theme song
  • Star Wars
  • We are Family
  • Harry Potter

They played the piccolo, flute, trumpet, drums, french horn, trombone, clarinet, and saxophone.

It was such a fantastic performance. All the staff and students were dancing to the songs. We all had the best time. Thank you to the South Australian Police Band for coming to our school!

Thank you to Phoebe and Ruby for filming the performance.
