Detailed information and permission notes sent home in writing on Monday\, 28 February 2022. \n\n\n\nWHEN: Tuesday 8th MARCH leaving school at 9:00am and returning at 3:00pm. \n\n\n\nTRAVEL: Students will walk to and from the beach. \n\n\n\nWHAT TO WEAR: Bathers\, shorts/track pants\, t-shirt or long-sleeved shirt if cold\, comfortable walking shoes (no thongs)\, school hat and sunscreen applied at home. \n\n\n\nWHAT TO BRING: Towel\, sunscreen\, snacks\, lunch box and a water bottle in school backpack or suitable carry bag. If your child will be going to OSHC\, please include dry underwear and a change of clothes. \n\n\n\nCOST: $3.00 to be taken from the Activity Levy.Please ensure the Activity Levy is paid via the Qkr app before the Water Safety Program.

DESCRIPTION:Book week theme for 2021 is: “Old World\, New World\, Other World“ \n\n\n\nDue to ongoing COVID-19 limitations we have decided to take our parade out of the school gates. \n\n\n\nOn Wednesday 25th August from 9:30am\, weather permitting\, we will leave the school and walk single file around the block (see attached map). \n\n\n\nWe ask that spectators stand on the opposite side of the road and park away from the route. This will make it easier for everyone to see the children as they parade. \n\n\n\nIf there is rain or high winds\, we will decide by 8:00am on Wednesday and then move to an indoor parade that will be filmed and shared with families. We will advise families via Class Dojo if the outdoor parade is cancelled. \n\n\n\nI understand that this is not ideal but we feel that it is a good and safe compromise. \n\n\n\nWe ask that you refrain from sharing images on Social Media platforms unless the image only features your child. \n\n\n\nWe look forward to the fun and excitement of dress up day on Wednesday.

Bring no more than $5.00) \n\n\n\n✅ Students will tour the Marketplace with their teachers in an allocated lesson. \n\n\n\n✅ Choose a few items to spend their money on and have a great time. \n\n\n\nPrices will range from 20c to $2. \n\n\n\nProfits go towards our school. Upper primary students will vote on how this is used.
