DESCRIPTION:Clarke (19-1)Horsfal/Gregory (19-2)Heard/Gregory (19-3)Eldridge (19-4)\n\n\n\nYear 6 students will be participating in the Aquatics Program at Port Noarlunga Beach and Aquatics Centre. Detailed information and permission notes sent home in writing on Monday 28 February 2022. \n\n\n\nWHEN: Friday 11th March leaving school at 8:30am and returning at 4:30pm. \n\n\n\nTRAVEL: Students will walk to the beach. They can be collected from the beach at 4:00pm. Those not collected will walk back to school accompanied by staff. \n\n\n\nWHAT TO WEAR: Bathers\, shorts/track pants\, t-shirt or long-sleeved shirt if cold\, comfortable walking shoes (no thongs)\, school hat and sunscreen applied at home. \n\n\n\nWHAT TO BRING: Towel\, sunscreen\, snacks\, lunch box and a water bottle in school backpack or suitable carry bag. If your child will be going to OSHC\, please include dry underwear and a change of clothes. \n\n\n\nCOST: $14.40 to be taken from the Activity Levy.Please ensure the Activity Levy is paid via the Qkr app before the Water Safety Program.

DESCRIPTION:Miss Emily (R) and Miss Bayly (R)- Morning Session \n\n\n\nMiss Alana (1/2) and Mrs Ehlers(1/2)- Midday Session \n\n\n\nJade Clarke (R/1) and Miss Butcher (1/2)- Afternoon Session \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe natural elements incursion is a multi-sensory\, play-based learning experience that inspires creativity and joyful connections with nature. Students will explore and create with natural materials and loose parts with a focus on developing STEM thinking dispositions and affordances in nature. \n\n\n\nStudents will learn about the engineering design process to imagine and reimagine design solutions with open-ended materials. Students will focus on sustainability\, indigenous connections\, sensory play\, and biological science. Students will also develop problem solving\, fine motor development\, and sensory integration.
